The Barackca formed in 1993 in Budapest. Political songs already appeared in their early years alongside with the satirical ones. They self-published a total of 8 albums. They had over 900 concerts in 29 European and 4 Asian countries. In their songs they often criticize capitalism, point out social problems, and they hold racism, National Socialism and every repressive authority unacceptable.

Barackca wurde 1993 in Budapest gegründet. Neben satirischen Liedern tauchten Politische Songs schon in den frühen Jahren auf. Insgesamt veröffentlichten sie acht Alben in Eigenregie. Mit über 900 Konzerten in 29 europäischen und 4 asiatischen Ländern haben sie sich einen Namen gemacht. In ihren Texten kritisieren sie oft den Kapitalismus, weisen auf soziale Missstände hin und lehnen Rassismus, Nationalsozialismus sowie jede Form repressiver Autorität entschieden ab.

passion: making noisy rock music in mouldy basements. with stiefel back
on drums, wolle now on bass and the, ever-shredding virtuoso attila on
electric guitar, a new sonic mixture is born – somewhere along the lines
of punk and rock.

Nach einem guten Jahrzehnt, in dem sie verschiedene Arten akustischer Musik perfektioniert hatten, schlossen sich Attila, Wolle und Stiefel zusammen, um zu ihrer ursprünglichen Leidenschaft zurückzukehren: laute Rockmusik in muffigen Kellern. Mit Stiefel wieder am Schlagzeug, Wolle nun am Bass und dem stets shreddernden Virtuosen Attila an der E-Gitarre entstand eine neue Klangmischung – irgendwo zwischen Punk und Rock.
