Die argentinische Band La Fanfarria del Capitán ist mit ihrer Musik schon um die halbe Welt gereist und hat ihren eklektischen, energischen und leidenschaftlichen „World-Folk“-Mix aus Rock, lateinamerikanischen Rhythmen, Ska, Reggae und Melodien vom Balkan auf die Festival- und Club-Bühnen in Südamerika, Asien und Europa gebracht.

Ihr sechstes Album El Cantomanto wird am 17.06.2022 veröffentlicht und wurde in den letzten beiden Jahren zum Teil individuell zuhause und zum Teil gemeinsam als Band entwickelt, wobei die Kreativität durch die stärkere Selbstbeobachtung zuhause intimere und gleichzeitig forschere Sounds und Ideen hervorbrachte.

Die Bandbreite an musikalischen Stilen ist somit noch weiter gewachsen und reicht von Indie-Rock-Pop-Sommer-Melodien über Synthieverrücktheiten, Rock-Ska („Hey Capitán“ und „Posadeiro“), Acid Jazz („Better Times“), einem auf einem traditionellen Rhythmus namens Wayno aus den Anden basierendes Wiegenlied („El plato del día“) und Cumbia Andina („Potosí“) bis zur Balkandisco
