THE HACKLERS (IRL) / SKA
feinster Ska mit Working Class Attitude aus Dublin City. Großartiger Sound ohne Schnörkel der nach UK-Ska Revival der 80ziger klingt, sowie die eine oder andere traditionelle Ska Nummer hauen die Iren uns um die Ohren. Ein besonderes Markenzeichen der Hacklers ist die unverwechselbare eingängige Stimme des Sängers Kevin Kenny. Mit dieser energiegeladenen Mischung bringen die Hacklers jeden Club zum skanken. Ja und es gibt Neuigkeiten: Mark Conway: der Original-Gitarrist und Gründungsmitglied ist wieder mit am Start neu am Bass: „Richi Costigan“ und Cushla Gillespie zur Gesangsunterstützung. Nach mehreren Touren durch Deutschland sind die Hacklers ein Garant für gefüllte Clubs und Festivals. Mittlerweile können die Iren zwei Longplayer vorweisen, einmal „Between The Lines „ 2016 auf Contra Records erschienen und ihr aktuelles Album „Another Round“ 2020 welches auf Smith&Miller Records erschienen und mittlerweile fast ausverkauft ist.
