Gegründet 1994 in Hamburg, steht B.S.T. für „Blut, Schweiß, Tränen“. Die aktuelle Formation besteht seit 2009. Ihr Doom Metal ist so dunkel und schwer wie ein Nordatlantiksturm im November.

Mit ihren deutschen Texten zeichnen sie ein unerbittliches Bild von der rauen See und dem unausweichlichen Tod. Sie ziehen den Zuhörer in die Tiefe und lassen ihn nicht mehr los.

Michael Kohsiek (Deaf Forever, Sacred Metal) schreibt: "Die exzellenten Gitarrenmelodien begeistern, die allgegenwärtige Melancholie ist jederzeit zu greifen und die Texte sind erfreulich kitschfrei - 'Die Illusion' ist tatsächlich ein richtig gutes Doomalbum aus Deutschland!“

MOUNTAIN THRONE wurden 2009 gegründet - als eine dem klassischen Heavy Metal und ursprünglichen Hard Rock verpflichtete Kapelle. Die Wurzeln im Doom Metal alter Schule werden dabei nicht verleugnet. Die Band ist ein klassisches „Power Quartet“ mit klarer Aufgabenteilung (Gesang/Drums/Bass/Gitarre), ungeschliffener, direkter musikalischer Attitüde und tonnenweise Spirit.

&nbsp;

Wichtige musikalische Eckpunkte für den Sound waren und sind Black Sabbath mit Dio, Iron Maiden, Deep Purple, Cirith Ungol, Scorpions, Bathory, Motörhead, Rainbow, Uriah Heep, alte Manowar, Pagan Altar, Jethro Tull, Judas Priest, Witchfinder General, Mercyful Fate, Saint Vitus … Allerdings: wer MOUNTAIN THRONE einmal gehört hat, weiß, dass die Band vor allem nach sich selbst klingt und einen sehr eigenständigen musikalischen Ausdruck hat. Der Zählerstand läuft nicht schnell, aber stetig. So hat die Band bis heute zwei Longplayer, diverse EPs, eine Split-Single und eine Compilation-CD veröffentlicht. Metal is Love!

Sauros

SAUROS steht seit 2019 für explizit simplen, riff-lastigen und wuchtigen Doom Metal, schroff und voller Grimm. 2022 veröffentlichte das Quartett aus Nürnberg die 6-Track-CD „Retreat“. Die Scheibe erhielt durchweg positive Resonanz. SAUROS teilte in der Folge die Bühne mit u.a. Thronehammer, Petrified, Naevus und ShEver. Höhepunkt war ein Auftritt beim prestigeträchtigen Hammer Of Doom Festival 2023 in Würzburg.

&nbsp;

Nach weiteren Konzerten 2024, u.a. mit Bands wie Magma Rise aus Ungarn, Haunted (Italien) oder Endonomos (Österreich) begannen SAUROS Anfang 2025 mit den Aufnahmen einer Full-Length-Scheibe, die Anfang 2026 erscheinen wird.
